Part 1
CT Chin started his career as an art director in brand advertising campaigns and his love in the world of art direction has propelled CT Chin to pursue into the career as a brand creative director cum brand image trainer/consultant. The understanding and experience of image branding, human resources, human psychology, fashion, colorings,textures, shapes, styling, space, strategies, concepts, organizations are parts of the basic landing pad for CT Chin.
CT Chin is the managing director of FP Group, he is also thefounder and partner of The Star Academy in soft skills trainings under the FP Group of Companies which comprises The Star Academy, NIKO Hair & Beauty,Vision Models Sdn. Bhd. as well as PCI Consultancy. It is a group that placed its’ emphasis on fashion and image lifestyles grooming and the specializationand leveraging on the strength within the group to create and substantiate thegrowth of the company laterally.
CT Chin was educated and had spent his formative years inLondon, England for a total of 14 years and also worked as a group head designer for a 3 years stint in Hong Kong before setting foot back to Malaysia.He was sent to attend a private school in England and later studied printing technology and communication design at London College Of Printing, University of London and brand communications in arts and design at Goldsmith College,University of London respectively, ending up with a post graduate in creativeand communicative graphics studies. CT started as a brand designer and startingto win awards in the early years of his professional life in London andsubsequently transferred to Hong Kong for a stunt of three years in brandadvertising and design. He worked his way up as a brand creative director and has been worked in several brand advertising and promotions internationalcompanies such as Lowe Lintas, BBDO, AMC and TBWA in Malaysia. His majoraccounts included MAS, Tourism Malaysia, Tourism Sabah, Park Royal Hotel,Shangri La Hotel, Sutera Harbour, Maybank, Citibank, Colgate, Milo, BabelacMilk Powder, Grandies Burgers, Bata, Versace, Fratelli Rosseti, Ministry ofHealth, Kao New Merries diaper, Island and Peninsular Properties to mention a few.

CT Chin also underwent furtherself enhancement and international training under the guidance of Mr. Peter Rogers of America from the Hollywood who specialized in brand image grooming from acting schools and top corporate professionals in “Corporate Etiquette”. CT Chin’s passion and dedications have a distinctive approach in his training and seminars, this is evidential in his creative and interactive training stylein relation to all his trainings. He believes all the abundant experiences in brand developments and conceptualizing, presentations to all top level of CEO and government heads, conceptualizing TV commercials and print productions etc., have come very useful in his coaching career as brand creative director in professional and personal image grooming and etiquette.
As a branding consultant and trainer / consultant as on Professional Presence, Business Etiquette, Communication Skills, Customer Service as well as various personal social skills. His dedications and passions in the training resulted in positive outcome of his classes and seminars. He has been invited to institutionsand universities such as Lim Kok Wing University of CreativeTechnologies, beauty pageant grooming, business clubs, Chinese Chambers ofCommerce etc. for talks on image branding, grooming and lifestyles. His creative approach in talks and coaching has earned him high respects amongst the trade, audience and his clients.
CT believes that the secret lies within the mindset of accepting evolution and changes of time and attitude of oneself, hence translating the methodology of coaching and talks in all his undertakings. He designed and solely owned the rights in his program modules based on the PRINCIPLE of 5 SENSES on etiquette and professional grooming. His talents and abilities to get connected and interacting with the public and audience in the most creative and memorable approach have indeed made it an experience to be desirable. Some of such modules namely Image Branding, Professional Image, Socialand Business Etiquette, Grooming and Deportment, Social and BusinessEtiquette, Customer Service, Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills,Telephone Skills, Fashion Styling etc.
CT is the image consultant and has produced the TV talkshow, Golden Lifestyle on Astro CH304 for a series of 7 episodes on image grooming,fashion, hair and beauty grooming. His works lead him to appear on morning TV talk show such as Bella at NTV7. He coached and produced event gala shows such as Shangdong Chamber of Commence Annual Dinner, Glitterama Charity Gala Show beauty pageants competitions; Mrs. Malaysia International 2012, Miss Chinese Chamber of Commerce NS, Miss MTCQ beauty pageant etc.
His involvement in beauty pageants on coaching, image grooming and etiquette such as Miss Chinese Cosmo South East Asia etc. Chin also worked on project as the honorable judge on beauty pageant and other beauty competitions: Mrs Malaysia World 2014, Revecen Makeup Competition 2014 to name a few.
He is a regular face on the national newspaper, China Press in which he acts as the fashion stylist and guru talking on the subject of image styling cum branding, grooming and etiquette, fashion, event management, lifestyles and many more.
CT also has worked on several projects with magazines, h4ufme (hair & beauty magazine), Mirrors fashion magazine, not to mention with RTM2 for Kemp Bintang Bintang TV program. There are articles written about theprofessional background of CT Chin in Back Stage magazine, Biz magazine,Entrepreneur magazine and the national Chinese paper, China Press.
